To get yourself in the mood of Christmas, CCT organized a free display of all kinds of Santa’s and Snowmen, Friday and Saturday, noon - 4 p.m. at the Town Hall on Pelan Road.
The Adirondack Lake Center for the Arts holiday production continues with “Little Women” a family friendly event and a wonderful warm production of the Louisa M. Alcott story featuring many local performers. (7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24: Indian Lake Theater $15/$10 members; *Children 12 and under $5 with parents, under the age of 5 no charge).
“Let There Be Light” Holiday Lighting and Decorating Contest, sponsored by the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce, is a local family favorite and is designed to promote community pride and holiday spirit among Indian Lake residents, businesses and community organizations. A drive around town is a must to view creative lighting and decorative displays. Winners of the Lighting contest will be announced during the Bon Fire at the Closing Ceremonies.
Adirondack ‘Bon Fire’ closing ceremony
The annual Country Christmas Tour Closing Ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Byron Park Pavilion with an Adirondack style “bonfire” and a holiday musical community sing-a-long. During the ceremony, sponsors of the “Let there Be Lights” Holiday Contest will present cash awards to winners. The agenda will also include door prize drawings, courtesy of CCT artisan and crafters.
