North Creek man arrested for burglary

— On June 10, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office was called to 47 Bridge St. (state Route 28N) in North Creek for a burglary that occurred to that residence.

Stolen from the home were five women’s rings and a bottle of prescription Vyvanse, a medication used for ADHD.

Following an investigation, 29-year-old Wiley E. Odell II of 82 River Road, North Creek, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, a class C felony. In his possession at the time were three tablets of Clonazepam, which he does not have a prescription for. As a result, Odell was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Odell was arraigned in Warrensburg Town Court and remanded to the custody of the Warren County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond. He is due to return to Chester court for the controlled substance charge on June 12 at 10 a.m. and to Johnsburg court for the burglary charge on June 13 at 7 p.m. This case was investigated by Patrol Officer Daniel J. Hill and Investigator Russ Lail.
